Building Support for Student Success

As a community, we need to invest in the lives of our children — whether we’re parents or not. The future of Jackson depends on the success of our students in school. With quality education and a focus on what is best for them, all children have the opportunity to reach their full potential.

As the African proverb says, “It takes a village to raise a child.” Through the lens of Ubuntu — “I am because we are” — we must be the kind of village that supports our children, not only for their good, but for that of our whole community.

Lunch Bunch

Share a meal and ideas with a passionate, diverse community of people: other parents, educators and community members invested in our children’s future. Lunch Bunch is Jackson’s only ongoing public forum for us to come together on common ground to discuss public education. Please bring $8 for lunch.
